We are seeking volunteers to participate in a clinical study of people who have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee and are currently experiencing knee pain.

About the clinical trial

The study is being conducted by Professor Richard Day, at the St Vincent’s Hospital Clinical Trials Centre in Sydney, and will assess the safety, effectiveness, and acceptability of a natural medicine when used to relieve the pain of osteoarthritis of the knee.

To find out if you qualify to participate,

1. Do you have osteoarthritis of the knee?
2. Are you currently between 18 and 80 years of age?
3. Do you live in suburban Sydney and are you able to attend St Vincent’s Hospital in Darlinghurst for four visits over a one-month period (three 1 hr visits and one 8 hr visit)
4. Are you able and willing to provide us with a small blood sample at your first and last visit?
5. Have you had any surgery to your legs, ankles or feet?
6. Have you had any injections into your knees in the last 3 months?
7. Do you have any other types of arthritis?
8 Do you have any allergies?
