Hi Melissa, My name is Danielle and I am a Naturopath with Blackmores. Indigestion or reflux can have quite a few causes, from food intolerance, eating when stressed, low stomach acid etc. You can talk to your healthcare professional for further diagnosis and read more at our website via the following link www.blackmores.com.au/health-topics/indigestion. It’s difficult to know ‘how to fix it’ until the underlying cause is identified so for best treatment see your Naturopath or doctor. All the best.

thank you danielle. i have recently been to see my GP and she has diagnosed me as having gord. is there anything from a natural point of view that i can do to relieve the symptoms? i'm using "pariet" but would rather deal with it naturopathicly.

Hi Melissa
I'm Kathryn, and I am a naturopath who writes for the Digestion Community here on the Blackmores website.

There are several effective natural remedies for Gastro-Oesophageal Reflux Disease (GORD). My favourite is slippery elm bark. It is readily available at health food stores, and simply taking 2 teaspoons in apple juice or water before each meal could really help you! (Make sure you drink it quickly, because it will thicken very fast once you add fluid to it.) For best results naturally for this condition, I recommend that you see a naturopath face to face for a private consultation. They will be able to make specific recommendations to suit your individual lifestyle. Kind regards, Kathryn.

Hi

I have a question about Blackmores Colon Care: how often can we take it since it contains senna? Is it safe to take them 2-3 times a week continously ? Thanks
