Hello Amirul, I am one of Blackmores Natuorpaths, called Sophie. Two herbs called Ginkgo and Brahmi have traditionally been used to help during times of intense concentration during study. There's also good evidence that fish oil, in particular a compound in fish oil called DHA can help. You might find this article on our website helpful www.blackmores.com.au/.../the-best-brain-on-the-block . If you'd like to speak to one of our naturopaths, please feel free to call us on 1800 803 760 or chat with us via our Ask a Naturopath page. Good luck, Amirul!

Hi Amirul, sorry to hear about your sharp pain and diagnosis with costochondritis. From my reading it seems that it can go away on its own but if it was caused by a bacterial infection you must treat the infection first. You may need to find out from your doctor what the cause of it was, in case you need further medical treatment. Some natural pain relievers include, green lipped mussel and omega 3 fish oil (you need to take between 6,000 and 12,000 mg a day). There are also analgesic herbs that may help with the pain such as willow bark, boswellia, corydalis and ginger. I hope that helps. Regards, Sophie
