2. Question yourself

Ask yourself these 6 questions next time you feel yourself procrastinating:
  • How important is the task I am putting off now?
  • What are the advantages of starting right now?
  • Are you fed up with leaving this till later?
  • What am I wasting my time doing to avoid this task now?
  • How can I break the task down into manageable chunks?
  • Will it kill me to do just do a few minutes to get started?

3. Aim for improvement- not perfection

Aiming for the perfect diet or the perfect body is tough, because it’s near impossible to attain. Waiting for the perfect time to get started might also result in procrastination and inaction.

Aim for improvement, not perfection. Even small steps will get you moving in the right direction, instead of sitting on your heels.
