Dosage

Adults – Take 2 capsules daily with meals or as professionally prescribed. Taking 4 capsules per day may help reduce the frequency of migraines
Children under 12 – Only as professionally prescribed.

Contraindications and cautions

At 4 capsules a day (600 mg):

Use under medical supervision only
Contraindicated with severe kidney disease
Not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
Not recommended for children
May cause diarrhoea

Magnesium Citrate (magnesium 150 mg) 971 mg

Medicine interactions

Magnesium may decrease the absorption and efficacy of some medications. If taking tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics or bisphosphonates (osteoporosis drugs) separate doses by at least 2 hours.
