Pet Expert Dr Katrina Warren is calling on all Australian pooch-lovers to upload videos and images of their cute canine hero using #PAWLeggedHero to celebrate National Dog Day this August 26th.
“Four-legged heroes come in all shapes and sizes and we want to celebrate the unique and wonderful qualities that make our dogs heroes in our eyes.
“So whether you have a lovable hero, an everyday hero, a goofy hero or an accidental hero, upload an image or video that best captures your #PAWLeggedHero and share it with the rest of the country,” said Dr Katrina Warren.
Australia is home to over 25 million pets, more than the country’s population, with most pet owners considering their four-legged friend as just part of the family .
“People with pets know that there are many benefits associated with having a companion animal, including physical and psychological health advantages. So National Dog Day is an opportunity to celebrate the impact our furry friends have on us, but also to remind pet owners to check in with their dog’s health too,” said Dr Katrina Warren.
Dr Katrina Warren has teamed up with PAW by Blackmores in the hope that by sharing these stories, the conversation of human and animal companionship continues, and pet-owners will help their pets enjoy the best of life.
To get involved on National Dog Day, simply upload the image or video that best captures your canine hero to your social media page using #PawLeggedHero and tag @PawbyBlackmores
