Dogs shows and dog festivals are a fantastic opportunity to get to know more about dogs and what makes them tick. Whether you opt for a breed specific show run by a local breed association, or go for a breed wide event with information, tips and tricks for dogs in general, you’ll walk away with ideas (and goodies) to enhance your dog’s life.

The Dogs Lovers shows will be touring various capital cities around Australia throughout 2017, bringing plenty of celebs, special pooches and exhibitors together to give pet owners an opportunity to revel in their dog ownership. Here’s the headliners:
Sydney Dog Lovers Show
Last year saw 20,000 passionate dog lovers attend the Sydney show. The 4th Sydney Dog Lovers Show will be staged from Saturday 5 to Sunday 6 August 2017 at the Royal Hall of Industries and the Hordern Pavilion and will be one of the largest and most comprehensive festivals for dog lovers in the world. As with the Melbourne show, you can expect dog showcases – watching them show off their skills, have the opportunity to learn more more than 40 popular breeds, and access information and experts on hand to help you find the right dog for your lifestyle.
You’ll have the chance to pay tribute to Australian Service Dog Tribute including Military, Guide, Therapy, Customs, Working and Assistance Dogs showcasing the skills and abilities of our canines and how they contribute to our community. There’s also stacks of the latest and greatest products and information, so you can come home with plenty of goodies for your four legged friends.

Brisbane Dog Lovers Show
Held on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th November, 2017 the Brisbane show is expecting around 10, 000 guests, and boasts over 500 pooches, 150+ exhibitors, celebrity vets, incredible dog shows and over 10 visitor features. You can meet and learn about more about 40 popular breeds of puppies at the breed showcase, gather expert tips and tricks for raising a healthier, happier dog – and there is free vet, training and grooming advice from trusted experts.
If you’ve ever thought about rescuing a dog, there’s a dedicated zone to teach you all you need to know about dog adoption.
