HOW TO PREPARE
1. Wash hands and all equipment before preparing formula.
2. Sterilise all equipment by boiling for five minutes or by using an approved steriliser.
3. Boil fresh drinking water for five minutes and leave to cool.
4. When cool, measure the required amount of water and formula by consulting the feeding guide on the product label.
5. Using only the scoop provided, lightly fill one measurement of the powder and use levelling blade on tin. Pour the powder into the prepared water, cap the bottle and shake until the powder is dissolved.
6. Check the formula temperature on your wrist then feed immediately.
Always prepare each bottle separately and freshly for every feed. Discard unused portions; do not keep for later feeding.

Newborn formula is suitable from birth and, for non-breastfed infants, can be a sole source of nutrition. A Follow-on formula is to be used from 6 months of age, around which time complementary foods start being introduced into the diet. These formulas are nutritionally adapted to the needs of the growing child.
Yes, there are no problems with a baby over 6 months continuing with Newborn Formula if they prefer it.
We recommend they move to our Toddler Milk Drink when they are 12 months of age.

If you are unable to reliably store your baby’s formula in cool, dry conditions, your baby has health issues or was born prematurely, please consider using the hot water preparation with water no cooler than 70°C.

The WHO and other many other health advisory bodies advise that best practice is to boil the kettle and allow it to cool for just under half an hour to reach approximately 70°C. You then add the powder to the water and can cool the prepared milk down to feeding temperature quickly by running the bottle under the cold water tap or placing in a jug of cool water.
Please be sure to check that the milk has cooled down to the right temperature before you feed your baby. It should feel just slightly warm on your skin.
