Hi Penny, thank you for your post. It would be best to discuss this with your doctor to ensure that your needs are met. Pernicious anaemia does require medical treatment. Your doctor will be in the best position to advise whether B12 injections are required in your case, or if oral B12 supplementation may be adequate. All the best.

Is enough B12 absorbed with melts sublingual for someone with pernicious anaemia?

Hi I just bought these and read the back properly and it says children under 18 years cannot take it unless advises by a doctor, I’m 16 so will it be okay to have?

What would happen if you swallow the tablet with water? would it be as effective or be diminished by gut acids?

When chewing or allowing the tablet to melt in the mouth will this have any adverse affect on tooth enamel or sensitivity?

After chewing or allowing to melt in the mouth can you follow up with a glass of water?
Hi is this a bacteria-derived supplement? Also what is the ratio of methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin? Thank you.

Is B12 Rapi-melt a "sublingual" form? I know it melts in your mouth but is the B12 still going thru the gut or is it bypassing the gut and going directly into the blood stream?
